Job summary

Toolstation Stoke-on-Trent is hiring a Store Assistant for 20 hours a week. You’ll be the friendly face helping customers, handling deliveries, stocking shelves, and supporting the store team in a busy environment.

We value reliability and a positive attitude. Local candidates who can start early and finish late will fit in well. Training is provided, with clear progression into wider store operations within the Travis Perkins group.

Qualifications

• Must be committed to delivering excellent service.
• Able to work early starts and late finishes.
• Willing to learn and be taught.
• No retail experience? We’ll teach you everything else.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find what they need and provide a great experience.
• Hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves.
• Handle deliveries, unpack stock, and keep the store clean.
• Prepare orders and support the team during busy times.
