Job summary

Ansible Motion is seeking a Senior Technician - Stock Control to lead day-to-day stores operations in its Norwich facility. You will ensure accurate receipt, storage and issuance of materials to support production and projects, delivering efficient stock flow and traceability.

The role involves coordinating the stores team, maintaining ERP records, and liaising with Production, Procurement and Supply Chain to secure material availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or stores operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in stock control, inventory management and ERP transactions.
• Experience with goods-in, goods-out and material handling.
• Familiarity with stock traceability, labelling and storage requirements.
• Experience collaborating with Production, Procurement or Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day stores and warehouse operations.
• Coordinate the stores team and prioritise workloads.
• Receive, inspect and store incoming materials correctly.
• Pick, issue and kit materials for production and projects.
• Maintain stock levels and ERP transactions accurately.
• Carry out stock checks and support inventory audits.
• Prepare goods for dispatch with proper packaging and documents.
• Maintain traceability and storage practices.
• Work with Production, Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure material availability.
• Maintain a safe, clean 5S stores environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve stock control and efficiency.
• Assist onboarding/training of new team members.
