Job summary

The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG), an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice, seeks a permanent Strategic Engagement professional. The role leads and coordinates stakeholder engagement, advising senior leaders on sensitive issues and supporting transformation programmes in engagement strategy and delivery.

You will build and maintain senior relationships, manage high-quality briefings, and coordinate engagements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality tailored briefings for stakeholder engagement
• Experience supporting delivery of stakeholder engagement strategies and plans

Responsibilities

• Support better stakeholder engagement across OPG and advise senior leaders on high-profile, sensitive issues
• Support proactive relationships with key stakeholders at senior level
• Support business and customer transformation programmes with stakeholder handling and engagement strategies
• Co-ordinate business-as-usual stakeholder engagement across OPG to keep messaging consistent
• Recommend responses to senior leaders on engagement invitations and support a proactive engagement calendar
• Manage the delivery of high-quality briefings and communications for key stakeholder audiences
• Support planning and delivery of engagement activity such as webinars
• Support gathering intelligence and analysing the effectiveness of external engagement
