At Ouster, we build sensors and tools for engineers, roboticists, and researchers, so they can make the world safer and more efficient. We've transformed LIDAR from an analog device with thousands of components to an elegant digital device powered by one chip-scale laser array and one CMOS sensor. The result is a full range of high-resolution LIDAR sensors that deliver superior imaging at a dramatically lower price. Our advanced sensor hardware and vision algorithms are used in autonomous cars, drones, and many other applications. If you’re motivated by solving big problems, we’re hiring key roles across the company and need your help!
Ouster is seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer to play a critical role in designing and building next-generation, commercial-grade LiDAR systems. The candidate should have a background in digital circuit specification, design, and verification for ASIC / Mixed-Signal SoCs or experience in FPGA design and looking to move into ASIC development. We are looking for a person who is interested in working in a start-up style environment where responsibilities can be varied and where there are great opportunities to broaden knowledge and skills. It’s a great chance to have a real impact on the design of some of the most exciting imaging systems being developed today. The most qualified candidate will be selected to join our innovative, collaborative, and dynamic team in our Design Centre in Edinburgh, Scotland.
