At Ouster, we build sensors and tools for engineers, roboticists, and researchers, enabling them to make the world safer and more efficient. We have transformed LIDAR technology from an analog device with thousands of components into an elegant digital device powered by a chip-scale laser array and CMOS sensor. Our high-resolution LIDAR sensors are used in autonomous vehicles, drones, and other applications, delivering superior imaging at a lower cost.
We are seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer to design and develop next-generation, commercial-grade LiDAR systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital circuit specification, design, and verification for ASIC / Mixed-Signal SoCs or FPGA design, and is looking to transition into ASIC development. This role offers the opportunity to work in a start-up environment with varied responsibilities and significant impact on innovative imaging systems. The position is based in our Design Centre in Edinburgh, Scotland.
