Job summary

Diaverum in Rotherham is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to join our renal care team on a part-time basis (22 hours per week). You will take on Nurse in Charge duties, mentor colleagues, and lead care programs for renal patients in a busy clinic.

The role requires an NMC Registered General Nurse with strong renal dialysis experience, excellent communication, and a commitment to high-quality patient-centered care. A supportive training environment is provided.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered General Nurse.
• Strong experience in a renal dialysis setting (2 years+).
• Awareness and understanding of the NMC code of professional conduct.
• Post-registration renal nursing course in progress or completed (ENB 136 or equivalent).
• Mentorship/Teaching qualification preferred.
• Positive, dynamic approach to delivering safe, effective care.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Nurse in Charge duties and deputise for clinic manager when needed.
• Mentor and support the nursing team and staff.
• Lead care programs for renal patients and perform patient assessments during treatment.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient-centred care at all times.

Your Responsibilities

• Undertake the role of Nurse in Charge and occasionally deputize for the clinic manager.
