Job summary

Diaverum Blackburn Dialysis Unit is recruiting a renal nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic dialysis environment. You will deliver care per Diaverum protocols, advance care plans, and document clinical activities in the patient record. Training includes 8-week supernumerary period and ongoing mentorship.

Starting salary up to £35,944 with opportunities for development, overtime, and a strong focus on work-life balance in a busy clinic open Monday to Saturday.

Qualifications

• NMC registered general nurse or due to qualify soon.
• Familiarity with the NMC code of professional conduct.
• Able to work autonomously and in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity in our Blackburn clinic for a nurse who wants to make a difference in our patients lives. You will provide patient care according to Diaverum procedures with the aim to increase the quality of life for our patients. A comprehensive professional training programme will be provided to you, including on-the-job training, e-learning and access to our in-house education programmed Academy., You will be responsible for taking ownership of care programmes for renal patients, following the tailored care plans as per Consultant instructions and ensuring clinical activity is appropriately documented in the patient medical record. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing and monitoring dialysis machines and systems in line with Diaveurm processes; reviewing pre and post haemodialysis care with patients; working in a multi-disciplinary team etc.,
