Job summary

One Stop Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join the IT team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, providing 1st line support for IT and network infrastructure, and collaborating with suppliers and software vendors.

The role focuses on delivering a high level of customer service within a private healthcare setting, with opportunities to participate in projects and grow with the company.

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join our IT team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 1100AM - 0700PM and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

About The Role
Your responsibilities will include:

The IT Support Engineer will be the primary professional responsible for providing 1st line support of the company IT & network infrastructure, associated applications, hardware, and user-base.

The role comprises of supporting the company user base with day-to-day issues and requests and being the key person to work alongside and coordinate work with current IT suppliers and software vendors.

This is a technical support role requiring basic IT understanding and an appetite to provide a high level of customer service throughout a private healthcare setting.

There will also be opportunities to participate and undertake tasks in projects throughout the business.

We welcome applications from new graduates and candidates who may not have all the relevant experience or requirements detailed in the person specification and job description. We are looking for someone who is proactive, eager to learn and aligned with our values. Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate where required.

About You
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Good standard of general education with GCSE (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
  • Any Degree level qualification or relevant industry experience with an interest in persuing a career in IT
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
