You’ll remain hands-on while mentoring engineers and influencing product direction in a high-growth energy tech platform.

This senior role emphasizes autonomous technical leadership without moving into people management, with AI-driven workflows and scalable backend/frontend systems.

Qualifications

Experience as a Senior or Staff Engineer in a high-growth startup or scale-up.
Proven ability to lead technically without formal management authority.
Strong system design and architecture skills for backend and frontend.

Responsibilities

Own squad's technical direction and architecture.
Design and deliver end-to-end systems across backend, automation, and frontend.
Build scalable, reliable systems for complex workflows.
Collaborate with product/commercial teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
Design intelligent, agent-driven AI workflows to automate processes.
Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and raise engineering standards.
Improve core services, tooling, and development practices.
