Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Main duties include:

  1. Clinical Governance & Patient Safety including compliance with infection control, medication safety, and clinical policies. Leading root cause analysis, investigations, or near misses. Monitoring audit results.
  2. Staff Training and development. Providing training and education, supporting students, and allocating assessors/supervisors.
  3. Patient experience and Satisfaction. Gathering feedback and leading patient-focused initiatives to improve the elective surgery experience.
  4. Data Management and Reporting. Collecting and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as infection rates, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal standards.
