Qualifications
- 12+ years of engineering experience with a track record operating at Staff/Senior Staff level.
- Ability to lead high-impact engineering initiatives spanning multiple teams.
- Experience shaping technical strategy for large-scale API or distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive multi-year technical strategy for the Claude API across API Core, Capabilities, Knowledge, Distributability, and Agents.
- Lead high-complexity initiatives and act as primary technical decision-maker for architectural choices.
- Mentor and develop staff-level engineers across the org, collaborating with Research, Inference, Platform, Infrastructure, and Safeguards.
