Job summary

Sodexo Live! is seeking a General Manager to lead operations at Headingley Stadium in Leeds. You will oversee hospitality, retail, culinary, logistics and events, driving outstanding guest experiences and strong financial performance on matchdays and events.

As a senior leader, you will manage large teams, build trusted venue partnerships and shape the venue’s hospitality strategy, while ensuring safety, compliance and continuous improvement. A high-profile, commercially minded role.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in stadia, arenas or large event venues.
• Proven ability to deliver P&L performance and commercial strategy.
• Experience running public retail and premium hospitality operations.
• Track record of leading large, diverse operational teams.
• Excellent client and stakeholder relationship management.
• Experience driving customer experience and service excellence.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret financial data.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile event environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership across all venue operations for matchdays, events and conferences.
• Act as relationship lead for venue partners and build trusted partnerships.
• Drive commercial performance and ensure profitable, efficient operations.
• Lead, motivate and develop large multi-disciplinary teams across hospitality, retail, culinary, logistics and events.
• Create a culture of safety, diversity and inclusion and ensure compliance with health, food safety and licensing.
• Support development and delivery of venue business plans and growth strategies.
• Identify and deliver innovation and revenue growth across hospitality, retail and events.
• Ensure services operate in line with contracts, KPIs and standards.
