Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in Nottingham is seeking a Senior Engineer – Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for the RIDP Product Line to lead reliability across data platforms. You will shape strategy, drive incident response, and mentor teams in a cloud-native, high-availability environment.

You will partner with product, engineering and business stakeholders to improve resilience and delivery while championing automation and best-practice SRE processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production operations, SRE, or DevOps.
• Minimum 2+ years of AWS services experience (Lambda, ECS, ALB, RDS, CloudWatch Insights).
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and containers; CI/CD tooling familiarity.
• Observability platforms and security-conscious delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Support 24x7 reliability operations for RIDP services and ensure uptime.
• Maintain SLOs/SLIs and drive improvements via engineering backlogs.
• Manage incidents with appropriate urgency and post-incident reviews.
• Drive automation across incident response, deployment, and observability.
• Collaborate to embed non-functional requirements and secure-by-design principles.
