Job summary

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) in the United Kingdom seeks a Tech Lead – Site Reliability Engineering for the Risk Screening Product Line in Nottingham. You will steer reliability engineering for critical Screening apps, ensuring availability, performance, and security across a cloud-native landscape.

Lead a growing SRE team, mentor talent, and collaborate with product and engineering to embed non-functional requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in production operations, SRE, or DevOps roles, including 3+ years in people management.
• Proven experience managing cloud-native services on Azure and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

Responsibilities

• Lead 24x7 reliability operations for Screening services, ensuring uptime, performance, and compliance.
• Define and implement SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets; maintain reliability scorecards.
• Act as Major Incident Commander during critical outages and drive post-incident learning.
• Drive automation-first mindset across incident response, deployment, and observability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to embed non-functional requirements and security-by-design.
• Co-own cloud reliability roadmap with platform teams; standardize tooling for observability and incident comms.
• Ensure DR readiness and resilient runbooks across services.
