Hunter Bond is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer/SRE to own the mission-critical infrastructure that underpins a globally scaled quant trading platform. You will design, build, and operate scalable systems, champion CI/CD, and drive reliability in a high-performance environment.

Join a team of exceptional engineers in London, with ownership of platform strategy and hands-on execution across Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience as Platform Engineer, SRE, or DevOps with ownership of platforms.
• Strong Linux and automation skills.
• Proven track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker.
• Observability and monitoring proficiency.
• Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Scripting or programming in Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
• Passion for reliable, highly available platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and run scalable, resilient platform infrastructure.
• Own and optimise CI/CD pipelines to speed up software delivery.
• Strengthen observability: monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting.
• Build automation and self-service tooling engineers genuinely rely on.
• Support containerised workloads and orchestration at large scale.
• Drive reliability, performance, and scalability across distributed systems and middleware.
