Job summary

Hunter Bond in London is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the London-based Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team. You’ll work across Windows, virtualization and related technologies, delivering on-premises, hosted and cloud-based solutions in a dynamic trading environment.

The role focuses on standardisation, repeatability, automation and orchestration, with opportunities to work on architecture, design scoping and hands-on delivery in a fast-paced financial setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V design and support.
• Kubernetes & cloud experience (Azure/AWS).
• Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins.
• PowerShell and Python scripting expertise.
• GenAI technologies in public cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Work across Windows platform engineering and related technologies.
• Support and improve on-premises, hosted and cloud environments.
• Drive standardisation, repeatability, automation and orchestration.
