Job summary

Omnicell is hiring the first senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and lead a new Global Cloud Operations practice. You will define SLOs, incident command, observability standards, and AI-driven operations while coaching a growing team.

You will own hands-on reliability, contribute IaC, and collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Product to ensure HIPAA/SOC needs are met in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading SRE/DevOps or platform teams in cloud-native environments.
• Demonstrated ability to define SRE practices from zero and establish incident command and budgets.
• 8+ years in software/platform engineering with 4+ years in SRE/DevOps leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and publish SLOs/SLIs for Tier-1 services with budget enforcement.
• Design incident command structure and train incident commanders.
• Select and stand up observability platform and standardize instrumentation across services.
• Migrate interim incident response responsibilities into a durable SRE model.
• Establish on-call rotation, paging discipline and partner with managed services providers.
• Develop and track KPIs and present reliability roadmaps to executive leadership.
• Contribute hands-on engineering and CI/CD improvements; scale Kubernetes securely.
