Job summary

Altium Limited is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our large-scale software systems. You will automate operational tasks, improve observability, and contribute to incident management while collaborating with development and technology teams to build reliable, scalable SaaS platforms.

You will pioneer reliability frameworks, promote a shared responsibility model, and drive automation across cloud regions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE or DevOps in a large-scale environment
• Software development experience, ideally .NET
• Strong understanding of SDLC, microservices and HA architectures
• Experience with observability tools (NewRelic, ELK, Grafana, PagerDuty, OTEL)
• Production experience with Kubernetes, AWS

Responsibilities

• Understand how the Altium Cloud Platform works
• Improve observability, logging, monitoring, and APM for reliability
• Develop reliability frameworks for SaaS products across regions
• Promote shared responsibility with engineering teams on reliability
• Contribute to incident response and post-incident analysis
• Participate in system design, platform management, and capacity planning
• Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments and IaC initiatives
• Drive deployment automation and streamline CI/CD processes
• Champion SOO principles for clear service ownership
