Job summary

Altium Limited is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of large-scale software systems across the Altium Cloud Platform.

You will automate operational tasks, enhance observability, and collaborate with development teams to build scalable applications. This role requires experience in SRE/DevOps, Kubernetes, AWS, and IaC, with a focus on SaaS reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE, DevOps or related role in a large-scale environment.
• Software development experience, ideally with .NET.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, microservice and HA architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes in production and AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, ArgoCD).
• Knowledge of IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Responsibilities

• Understand how the Altium Cloud Platform works.
• Improve observability: logging, monitoring, and APM.
• Develop reliability frameworks across regions and environments.
• Promote a shared responsibility model with engineering teams.
• Contribute to incident response and post-incident analysis.
• Collaborate on system design, platform management, capacity planning.
• Drive automation with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployments.
• Champion SOO principles for clear service ownership.
