Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to manage mission-critical SQL Server estates across development, test and production. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance while working with Azure SQL and Power BI, in a hybrid model blending Capgemini offices, client sites and home.

You will mentor junior DBAs, support on-call rotations, and lead initiatives to automate regular database maintenance and deployments within a large Microsoft data platform

Qualifications

• Extensive MS SQL Server administration across development, test and production environments.
• Experience with backups, restores, and DR strategies aligned to RPO/RTO.
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring skills for junior DBAs and developers.

Responsibilities

• Manage SQL Server databases across development, test and production environments.
• Configure and maintain DB servers, monitor health, performance and security.
• Lead real-time issue diagnosis, liaise with teams to resolve end-to-end incidents.
