Job summary

St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Band 6 rotations across Adult and Paediatric services. The role includes diverse rotations such as Acute Medicine, Stroke, Neurorehabilitation, and Community neuro, with emphasis on supervision and professional development.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification.
• Health and Care Professions Council – Licence to Practice.
• Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Evidence of completion of specialist short courses and self-directed study.

Responsibilities

• Manage adult or paediatric caseload independently depending on rotation.
• Provide specialist SLT knowledge and support to colleagues and the service.
• Lead collaborative working with patients, carers and multidisciplinary staff.
• Participate in weekly instrumental assessment clinics where appropriate.
• Assist with student placements and supervise SLT assistants.
