Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join our Acute Adult & Paediatric SLT Service. This substantive post offers opportunities in the Stroke Team or Specialist Medicine Teams, with rotation into leadership and training where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree and HCPC licence.
• Be registered with RCSLT and committed to continuous professional development.
• Demonstrate post-qualification experience with adults or paediatric dysphagia and communication disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis and management of adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an acute hospital setting.
• Work within a dynamic MDT and lead on service development projects.
• Deliver training and education to colleagues and students.
• Prioritise a large caseload with strong documentation and communication.
