Job summary

Chiltern Way Academy Trust is seeking an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to establish and develop a comprehensive therapy service across schools. You will lead delivery of specialist SLT interventions, embed communication strategies, and work with staff and families to ensure holistic support for pupils with SLCN.

The role requires HCPC and RCSLT registration, and experience with ASC, SEMH, and complex communication needs.

• Experience with ASC, SEMH and complex communication needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist, outcome-focused interventions for pupils with SLCN
• Embed communication strategies across the curriculum to support learning
• Collaborate with staff, families and external professionals for holistic care
• Lead development and delivery of a specialist therapy service for pupils with highly complex needs
• Provide advanced clinical expertise and oversee therapy provision across your site
• Strategically embed communication strategies across the curriculum
• Deliver and oversee training, supervision and staff development
• Coordinate multidisciplinary working and contribute to service development and QA
• Provide clinical leadership within your area of responsibility
