Job summary

Sirona care & health, England’s largest provider of community services for adults and children, is seeking a senior Speech and Language Therapist to lead the Integrated Community Stroke Service (ICSS) in the Bristol, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire area. You will supervise the SLT team, develop staff, and ensure high-quality, patient-centred care in patients’ homes and local communities.

You will work with the MDT to assess and support people with communication and swallowing

Qualifications

• Registered Speech and Language Therapist with appropriate qualifications.
• Experience in leadership and supervision within a clinical service.
• Experience working with stroke, communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical intervention for SLT in the community MDT.
• Provide leadership, supervision and development for the team.
• Triage referrals and act as a key contact for ICSS.
• Contribute to performance reporting and workforce management.
• Support policy development and auditing of performance.
• Lead clinical governance and HR processes including recruitment and incidents.
• Educate students and junior colleagues.
