We are seeking an exceptional Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join a dedicated team in Chigwell, Essex. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of £53,603 to £61,533 per annum, including paid school holidays and an excellent benefits package.

You will work within a specialist school serving children with autism, delivering tailored therapy, training staff, and leading multidisciplinary collaboration to support young people to reach their communication and learning goals.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist with autism experience.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills in speech and communication.
• Experience supervising junior staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised Speech & Language Therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with education and residential teams to shape therapy environments.
• Provide training and workshops to staff on communication needs.
• Participate in MDT meetings to ensure integrated strategies.

• Training & Development: Provide consultation, workshops, and training to staff to support communication needs across the setting.
• MDT Working: Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure integrated and effective therapeutic strategies.
• Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their professional development and enhancing team performance.

Qualifications / Requirements

• HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist.
• Proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including autism.
