Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Permanent | Flexible working hours available

Location: Birmingham

Salary: up to £53,000 per annum pro-rata based on experience

Our well-established client is looking for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Assess how a person’s communication impacts their daily life and provide appropriate intervention.
• Assess communication and develop management and rehabilitation plans, seeking specialist assessments as required.
• Provide training to staff and service users’ social networks.
• Contribute to service and organizational development.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HCPC registered
• Speech and Language Therapy degree
• Achieved Dysphagia Competencies
• Specialist knowledge of SALT models and interventions in ABI (e.g., social communication, cognitive communication, communication partner training)
• Able to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload
• Minimum 4 years qualified experience encompassing complex case management
