Job summary

Outwood Academy Ormesby in Middlesbrough is seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support, specialising in Maths, English or dyslexia, and to mentor GCSE students. The role is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:15am–3:15pm, term-time only plus 5 days, with ASAP start.

You will manage complex student caseloads, apply specialist strategies for adaptations, lead intervention programmes and participate in statutory reviews as part of the Outwood Academy Ormesby team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting GCSE-level learners.
• Ability to deliver targeted, high-level support to improve attainment.
• Experience managing complex student caseloads and applying specialist strategies.

Responsibilities
