Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a highly specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Mainstream Schools team, working 3 days a week. You will triage referrals, manage a complex paediatric caseload, assess and intervene, and contribute to training and service development across education, preschool and ALN teams.

You will collaborate with children, families, schools and partner agencies, providing clinical supervision and CPD opportunities while delivering

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (SLT).
• HCPC registration and ongoing professional development.
• Postgraduate study relevant to the clinical area at Masters level.
• Experience supervising colleagues or students.

Responsibilities

• Triage referrals and prioritise caseload for paediatric cases.
• Assess, intervene and manage a complex paediatric caseload.
• Deliver training and education to colleagues and students.
• Contribute to service evaluation and development with CPD support.
