Job summary

The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board North Wales is seeking an experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Neurodevelopmental team in Gwynedd. This part-time Band 7 post involves working with children and young people and their families with Neurodevelopmental conditions, in a multidisciplinary service spanning Gwynedd and Anglesey.

You will deliver neurodevelopmental assessments, provide clinical supervision, and contribute to service development within the MDT.

Qualifications

Recognised qualification degree / equivalent in SLT.
HCPC registered.
Post graduate study relevant to clinical area at Masters level or equivalent demonstrable experience at this level.
Able to demonstrate continuing professional development e.g. up to date, relevant CPD portfolio.
Clinical supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct Neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people in the ND service.
Lead and develop the role of SLT within the MDT and provide supervision to team members.
Collaborate with ND and core SLT services to deliver a coordinated service for children and families.
Contribute to service development projects and professional leadership.
