Job summary

The Occupational Therapy post is with the Mid Devon multidisciplinary team, serving adults with learning disabilities and complex needs across Devon. The role offers flexible working with occasional home days and two office locations in Tiverton and Okehampton.

You will deliver specialist assessments, evidence-based interventions, and contribute to care planning within a supportive MDT. Training and development opportunities are provided to enhance professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in working with people with communication difficulties
• Experience managing a diverse caseload including those with complex disabilities
• Experience in a MDT setting and collaboration with wider support networks
• Knowledge of government policy relating to learning disabilities and safeguarding

Responsibilities

• Work within the Mid Devon MDT with offices in Tiverton and Okehampton; occasional home working.
• Provide specialist assessment, intervention, consultation to promote engagement in meaningful occupations.
• Support junior OT staff and students; contribute to leadership and development of the service.
