Job summary

Children and Family Health Devon is recruiting a Clinical Specialist/Team Manager (OT) to lead specialist OT services within CFHD’s Experts at Hand pilot. The post supports children, families, and professionals through assessment, intervention, and professional training, with opportunities to shape service development in Devon.

Qualifications

• Registered HCPC-OT with current status and up-to-date CPD.
• Experience in leading and supervising OT staff within a multidisciplinary service.
• Ability to assess complex needs and develop leadership-informed care plans.
• Knowledge of clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide Specialist OT assessment and intervention for a complex caseload.
• Provide supervision to OT staff across CFHD.
• Support pathways across Physical and Sensory services.
• Triage referrals with strengths-based assessment, planning and evaluation.
• Contribute to risk assessment and care planning with families.
• Manage a caseload of children with highly complex needs using evidence-based care.
