The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate specialist skills developed over their career. They will support the Occupational Therapy team in driving the Occupational Therapy strategy forward, contributing to continual quality improvement and service development and innovation. They will also require the skills to role model and energize the workforce with a ‘can do’ approach, understanding that the health and wellbeing of our staff is critical to the care and treatment of those using our service.

Our Charity

We are St Andrew’s, a mental health charity that inspires hope. We work together with a number of organizations to transform the lives of people with complex mental health needs. We provide specialist mental healthcare and deliver a range of inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education, and research that helps to improve lives.

Our vision for the future is a society in which everyone living with mental health needs is heard, valued, and has hope for their future. As a charity, all of our profits are re-invested into new services and facilities. Because we’re independent, we have the flexibility to make a real difference. Joining us is your chance to make a significant contribution to amazing work that is transforming the lives of some of society’s most vulnerable people.

Specialist Recovery Division

The Specialist Recovery Division (SRD) comprises six inpatient units, three rehabilitation houses, and a small community service spanning across low security, specialist rehabilitation, acute services, and community-facing services. This role will focus on supporting our low secure service on Spencer North, which is a 14-bedded ward for males aged 18-65. Patients admitted to the ward experience a range of mental health issues.
