Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 8a Specialist Nurse for Palliative Care in the Sutton PCCH. The role supports two PCN footprints, ensuring specialist palliative care is accessible within local community networks.

You will lead with a senior clinical leadership pair, coordinate care with primary care, community nursing, acute services and voluntary sector partners, and drive embedding palliative care into neighbourhood business.

Qualifications

• Current registration with NMC as an Adult Nurse
• Post-registration qualification in Palliative/End of Life Care or equivalent
• Non-medical prescribing qualification (V300) or willingness to work toward it
• Evidence of advanced clinical knowledge in palliative and end of life care

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist palliative care leadership across PCN footprint sites
• Support neighbourhood and community structures with specialist guidance
• Ensure continuity of senior palliative care leadership and strategic development
