Job summary

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic nurse to join our palliative care team. You will provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care across Warwickshire, managing a clinical caseload and delivering high quality compassionate care.

In this role you will lead education and training within a multi-disciplinary team, collaborate with locality services, and contribute to the SWFT Business Plan.

Qualifications

• Palliative or end-of-life care experience is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to support patients and families.
• Ability to teach and educate others; committed to compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload of patients requiring specialist palliative care.
• Provide specialist advice, education and leadership within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Collaborate with locality team to deliver the specialist palliative care element of the SWFT Business Plan.
• Support training and continuous professional development.
