The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Need to Do:

• Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience, with dishes prepared to high standards.
• Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
• Build a coaching culture within your team, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and development.
• Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions when needed.

What We Look For:

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with consideration and care.
• Experience maintaining high standards of food safety and health standards.
• Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.
• Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
• Problem-solving skills and quick decision-making abilities.
