Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited is seeking a Sous Chef for our luxury care and nursing home in Reigate. You’ll lead a busy kitchen, ensuring every meal is nutritious and restaurant quality, while supporting the Head Chef and mentoring the Kitchen team.

With 5 years’ kitchen experience and relevant qualifications, you’ll help drive menu development and maintain high standards. Day shifts, full-time role, and staff benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in a kitchen environment.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Food & Hygiene or Catering Services completed.
• Supervisory experience and COSHH awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Second in command to Head Chef; ensure meals are nutritious and restaurant quality.
• Manage and develop Chef de Partie and Commis Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in regularly reviewing and developing the menu.
