BAO London’s Kings Cross restaurant is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen with consistency and high standards. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver our menu, manage day-to-day operations, and support your team in a fast-paced, quality-led environment.

The role focuses on leadership, shaping a kind and capable kitchen culture, with a 6-shift week and opportunities for development and growth within the BAO group.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef in a quality-focused kitchen.

Responsabilités

• Support the Head Chef in running smooth, efficient day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Lead service and maintain quality, consistency, and presentation across every dish.
• Manage prep schedules, ordering, stock control, and kitchen organisation.
• Coach and support junior team members, helping build a kind and capable kitchen culture.
• Assist with rota planning, costings, and food safety compliance.
