Big Easy in London is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will support the head chef, lead day-to-day kitchen operations, and help maintain high culinary standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee food preparation, contribute to menu development, ensure strict hygiene, and coordinate inventory and ordering. Strong leadership, communication, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Proven ability to oversee food preparation and presentation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene.
• Experience ordering and managing inventory and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Supervising Kitchen Staff: train, mentor, and oversee line cooks and prep cooks.
• Managing Daily Kitchen Operations: coordinate tasks and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Deputizing for the Head Chef: lead kitchen operations in head chef's absence.
• Handling Disciplinary Issues: address staff performance and conduct.
• Assisting with Staff Scheduling: create and manage work schedules.
