The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be a leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support coaching and developing your team, driving restaurant performance, and delivering exceptional results.

You will |

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensure excellent guest experiences by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skill development.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand the financial aspects of the kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions and thinking on your feet.

What we look for |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team.
  • Proven ability to uphold food, health, safety standards, and manage financial performance including GP and stock control.
  • Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick, effective decisions.
