Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

If you |

  • Focus on creating a caring and supportive environment, nurturing talent and role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring dishes meet high standards.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand kitchen financials including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working closely with the Head Chef on recruitment and development.
  • Are a proactive problem solver, able to make quick decisions on your feet.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring approach.
  • Proven track record in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including GP and stock control.
  • Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, fostering inclusivity and respect.
  • Ability to think quickly and solve problems proactively.
