The role |
As a senior sous chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

- Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes. Prioritize nurturing and developing talent within your team, role-modeling a coaching culture within the management team.
- Are dedicated to ensuring an excellent guest experience, ensuring every dish is prepared to exceptional standards, whether through your own efforts or by empowering your team with the necessary skills and mindset.
- Are experienced in maintaining high standards for food, health, and safety, and understand the financial performance of a kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs. Proactively spot opportunities as a head chef or senior sous chef.
- Are focused on building a coaching culture within your team, working with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, and fostering personal and professional growth.
- Are a forward-thinking problem solver, able to think on your feet and make quick decisions.

- A strong communicator who engages in genuine conversations with consideration and care, ensuring your team feels supported.
- Proven experience in maintaining impeccable food, health, and safety standards.
- Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
- Experience managing labor costs and reacting to changing demands.
- An inspiring leader who motivates their team to flourish in their roles and careers.
- Passionate about creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and belonging.
