The role |

As a senior sous chef, you will be an inspiring leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

Responsibilities include |

  • Creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent within your team, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintaining spotless food, health, and safety standards, understanding financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs, and proactively identifying opportunities.
  • Building a coaching culture, working with the head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, and fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Being a proactive problem solver, capable of quick thinking and decision-making.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a head chef or senior sous chef, with a track record of performance in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on caring and ensuring your team feels supported.
  • Experience maintaining high standards of food, health, and safety.
