Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, drive restaurant performance, and ensure exceptional results.

Responsibilities include |

  • Creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensuring an outstanding guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Managing kitchen standards, including food safety, health standards, gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Building a coaching culture, working closely with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Demonstrating problem-solving skills and making quick, informed decisions.

What we look for |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Financial acumen regarding kitchen performance, including GP and stock control.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage the team.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful workplace.
