Job summary

Sabor, part of the JKS Restaurants group, is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join their award-winning team in London. You will lead kitchen operations, contribute to menu development, and ensure high-quality, innovative dishes across the restaurant and bar areas.

Michelin experience is preferred but not essential; the ideal candidate will be passionate about food and drink and capable of managing a busy kitchen in a critically acclaimed group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a high quality Restaurant.
• Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce.
• A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage, train and motivate a Kitchen brigade.
• Experience scheduling and reviewing staff rotas.
• Working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of consistent, high quality and innovative dishes across the operation.
• Assist in menu development and work closely with Head Chef.
• Manage kitchen operation, prep schedules, stock control, budgeting and maintenance.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen team management.
