Job summary

Legado, part of the JKS Restaurants group, opened in 2025 in Shoreditch, seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join an award-winning team. You will lead the delivery of high-quality, innovative dishes and work closely with the Head Chef on menu development and kitchen direction.

The role involves managing day-to-day kitchen operations, prep schedules, stock control and budgeting while mentoring the kitchen brigade. Michelin experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a high quality restaurant.
• Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce.
• Creative approach with attention to detail.
• Able to train and motivate a kitchen brigade.
• Experience scheduling staff rotas.
• Knowledge of health and safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• As Senior Sous Chef, deliver high quality, innovative dishes across the operation.
• Assist in menu development and overall kitchen management.
• Oversee prep schedules, stock control and budgeting, and lead the kitchen team.
