Job summary

Sabor, part of the JKS Restaurants group, is seeking a Head Chef to join its award-winning team. The successful candidate will be passionate about food and drink, with Michelin experience preferred but not essential, and will lead a kitchen delivering high-quality dishes.

The Head Chef will drive menu development, manage kitchen operations, and collaborate with Directors to maintain ambitious standards across the group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high quality restaurant.
• Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce.
• Creative approach with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage, train and motivate a kitchen brigade.
• Experience in managing staff costs, scheduling and reviewing rotas.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, high quality and innovative dishes and specials.
• Lead menu development in collaboration with Directors.
• Manage overall kitchen operations including prep schedules and stock control.
• Oversee budgeting and maintenance within the kitchen team.
