The role:

As a senior sous chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support ongoing coaching and development of your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and achieving excellent results.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role-modeling a coaching culture.
• Ensuring exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, health, and safety, and understanding financial metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
• Building a coaching culture, recruiting, and developing your team, fostering personal and professional growth.
• Being a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience leading a kitchen team, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging in meaningful conversations with your team.
• Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and health standards.
• Financial acumen regarding kitchen performance, including GP and stock control.
• Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate teams.
• A commitment to inclusivity, respect, and team belonging.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
