Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Overall responsibility for food quality and presentation, sent out to customers.
  • Maintaining a positive and engaged team through 1:1 meetings, incentives, and recognition.
  • Conducting inductions for all new starters in line with company procedures.
  • Managing the Sous Chefs to ensure all training meets company standards.
  • Ensuring all kitchen staff follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and kitchen procedures.
  • Managing food inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensuring all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and repaired as needed.
  • Collaborating with other kitchen staff and restaurant management to ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Handling customer complaints or issues related to food quality or service.
  • Treating everyone with respect and remaining calm at all times.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
  • A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgment and minimal direction.
