Luxury 5-star hotel is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to lead its award-winning team. Salary: £56,000-£59,000.

Location and Overview

5-Star Luxury Hotel | Outskirts of North West London

Smyth & Co are proud to represent one of the UK’s most prestigious luxury hotels in their search for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to join their flagship property on the outskirts of North West London.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to step into a senior role within a world-class culinary operation. The hotel features a vibrant, theatre-style restaurant — an open-kitchen concept with live cooking stations offering modern Asian, rustic Italian, seafood, robata-grilled meats, vegan dishes, and seasonal salads.

The restaurant emphasizes quality and seasonality, sourcing ingredients locally, including from the hotel’s own kitchen garden.

The Role

As Senior Sous Chef, you will be a key leader in a high-volume kitchen (serving over 300 covers per service). The restaurant operates for breakfast and dinner throughout the week, with lunch service added from Friday to Sunday, demanding creativity, energy, and precise execution.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will help maintain standards, contribute to menu innovation, and support daily kitchen operations. You will also mentor junior chefs, fostering a culture of learning, excellence, and passion.
