Job summary

The Scotsman Group, Scotland’s largest hospitality group, is seeking an experienced Senior Sous Chef to join one of our fantastic venues. You will support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen management and help drive high standards across the kitchen.

You will be involved in menu development, mentor junior chefs, and deputise for the Head Chef when needed. We offer flexible working, staff meals, and a supportive environment to progress your career in a dynamic company.

The Role:

AsSenior Sous Chef,your role will include:

• Supporting the Head Chef in the day to day management of the kitchen
• Being involved in all aspects of the kitchen operation, in addition to menu compilation, developing junior members of the team, and ensuring that all aspects of the operation comply with legislative requirements
• Fully deputise for the Head Chef in their absence.

The Person:

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a rosette kitchens and banqueting and will be looking to progress within a dynamic company that can help you take the next step on the career ladder.
• Strong people and operational management skills and have experience in the industry at a supervisory level.
